Classic White Marbles
White marbles are most famously quarried from the Apuan Alps in Carrara, Italy. Known for its elegant greyish veins on an ivory white backdrop, there is no wonder why it is the most sought after marble today. Popular variants include: Calacatta, Statuario and Carrara, with each having their own distinctive look and feel.
For over 2000 years, mankind have been quarrying white marbles and using it to build extraordinary structures and carve out precious sculptures, such as the Taj Mahal, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the Statue of David, the Pantheon and various other temples and settlements in Europe. Due to its clean and elegant aesthetics, some white marbles have remained timeless and are widely used in both commercial and residential spaces all around the world.
