Travertine Marbles

Travertine marble is a terrestrial sedimentary rock formed by the process of rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate, which often occurs at the mouth of a hot spring or in a limestone cave. Travertine has a fibrous appearance and exists in many colour varieties, including: white, tan, cream and even rusty.

Travertines have been used as a building material since the times of the Romans, building historic temples, monuments, baths and amphitheaters such as the famous Colosseum. Today, due to its timeless appearance, Travertines are widely used in both commercial spaces and residential areas all around the world.
